|---|---|
| 1 BPM | 1.6667e-8 MHz |
| 2 BPM | 3.3333e-8 MHz |
| 5 BPM | 8.3333e-8 MHz |
| 10 BPM | 1.6667e-7 MHz |

Formula
megahertz = BPM × 1.66666667e-8
Frequency uses the SI hertz (Hz, cycles per second). 1 kHz = 1,000 Hz; 1 MHz = 1 million Hz; 1 GHz = 1 billion Hz. RPM and BPM are both "cycles per minute": 60 RPM = 1 Hz.
About BPM and Megahertz
BPM (BPM): Beats per minute; the standard tempo unit in music, mathematically identical to RPM. Common uses: Music tempo (a typical pop song is 100-140 BPM), heart rate (a healthy adult resting pulse is 60-100 BPM), and exercise tracking.
Megahertz (MHz): A million hertz; the unit for FM radio, older computer clock speeds, and microwave-band wireless. Common uses: FM radio (88-108 MHz), microcontroller clock speeds, ham radio, and some Wi-Fi specifications.
How the conversion works
Frequency uses the SI hertz (Hz, cycles per second). 1 kHz = 1,000 Hz; 1 MHz = 1 million Hz; 1 GHz = 1 billion Hz. RPM and BPM are both "cycles per minute": 60 RPM = 1 Hz.
The exact relationship is megahertz = BPM × 1.66666667e-8, which the calculator at the top of this page applies in both directions. Type into either field and the other updates immediately.
When this conversion matters
Converting between BPM and megahertz comes up wherever frequency measurements move between systems — from one country's conventions to another's, from a scientific reference to a practical specification, or from one industry's working unit to another's. The calculator and reference table above cover the everyday range; for unusual values you can type any number into either field.
